The essential Milan Furniture Fair 2025 – Salone del Mobile – is presented as a return to the human element. Hence its title “Thought for Humans”. In 2025, the 63rd edition of this grand event will be held from April 8 to 13 around a theme that is more relevant than ever: “Towards a more sustainable and cultural design”.

Both in terms of creativity and economic impact, this event transforms the Lombard city every year into a bubbling creative center. For Maria Porro, president of the fair since 2021, the 2025 edition promises to be historic with more than 2,000 exhibitors expected.

Euroluce: Let there be light

As it does every two years, the Euroluce lighting exhibition joins the program. A highlight of this edition: the first International Forum on Light, where shadows, lighting, and futuristic technologies will intersect. The event will open at the Museo Pietà Rondanini (Castello Sforzesco) with a masterful installation signed by the famous American artist Robert Wilson. Entitled “Mother”, this work features Michelangelo’s Pietà Rondanini, accompanied by the music “Stabat Mater” by Arvo Pärt.

SaloneSatellite: The talent incubator

We owe it to Marva Griffin for having opened the doors of the fair to designers under 35 since 1998. Today, SaloneSatellite has become an essential stage for young creators and international schools. Every year, the SaloneSatellite Award rewards the most innovative prototypes, revealing the names that will shape the design of tomorrow.
